Great for custom exhaust systems.

If you're modifying an existing dual exhaust system, or building one from scratch, a crossover connection between the two sides can give your engine's performance a big boost, by evening out the exhaust pulses and reducing exhaust reversion. But making one can be a real pain. Prefabricated Hedman X-TREME X-pipe junctions handily eliminate that problem, though. They're made from 16-gauge aluminized stock for durability, and have a tangentially sequenced junction for performance enhancement.
